The Dead Daisies Uproar 2013 line up features Australians Jon Stevens (INXS/Noiseworks) and David Lowy (Mink), Alex Carapetis (Nine Inch Nails/Julian Casablancas), Americans Richard Fortus (Guns ‘N’ Roses/Thin Lizzy), Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy/Whitesnake) and Dizzy Reed (Guns ‘N’ Roses).
The band are blitzing the U.S. Uproar Festival shows with three down and 21 to go in the company of Alice In Chains, Jane’s Addiction, Coheed and Cambria and Circa Survive.
Their debut single “Lock ’N’ Load,” co-written by Jon Stevens and featuring Slash was recently named by Rolling Stone Magazines as their Daily Download. The LockNLoad has been added to over 20 Radio Networks across the US, with the video also receiving huge support, including MUCH MUSIC (over 30 million homes in US & Canada), and was also featured in a flyaway promotion on Nights with Alice Cooper nationally syndicated radio program (over 100 Rock and Active stations in the US & Canada this week).
The Dead Daisies Self Titled Debut Album was released through Caroline on August 13th and a National Press & Tour Press Campaign (print, dailies, trades, online, morning show, late night) is underway.
Syndicated reviewer Gary Graff included the album in his CD reviews as a “New & Noteworthy” release yesterday.
